Russia and Indonesia have been partners in the field of militarytechnical cooperation. earlier in 2003 Indonesia received twoSu-30MK and Su-27SKM two. In 2007, Indonesia to buy sixaircraft - three Su-and Su-30MK2 27SKM.
In addition, Russia is also supplying ten Mi-35 helicopters, 14 Mi-17 helicopters, 17 tanks TMP-3F, 48 BTR-80A and theKalashnikov AK 9000-102.  As stated the government, in 2024 Indonesia plans to buy 180fighter squadron to make ten.
