If anyone has seen the classic 'Withnail and I', they'll see that I've gone for the less scrubby looking version of Richard E. Grant. I must watch that movie again soon......
A colleague of mine recently pulled me up on the fact that there is a distinct lack of female subjects on this page. It's nothing to do with not liking the ladies. Don't get me wrong, I love the ladies. I really love the ladies. So with that in mind, I plan to put it right any day now......watch this space.....
Just heard the 2007 Oscar nominations. I really want this guy to win the Best Actor gong. it seems like he's been around forever but he's never quite received the recognition he deserves.
As you can see, there's a slight theme runing here with all the pencil drawings. A little birdy has informed me that a brand spanking new Wacom tablet will be winging it's way to me for the impending doom which is my birthday. As soon as I have that between my teeth (not literally) it'll be colour all the way......well, that's the plan anyway.
Been trying to get this one right for months. This is probably the closest i've come to nailing it......still missing something though. I'll get right if it's the last thing i do.
These are a couple of caricatures I was asked to do for some work colleagues of mine a couple of months ago. Thankfully, they went down a storm but left them both somewhat speechless.......
So here are pics from a gig last night. Recently at gigs I just havent felt like taking the extra effort of photographing sketches. I felt it was taking time away from the client. Just didnt do it...All these were taken after I was done. But this is good...Blog was hungry...tired and lonely ENJOY!!!
All my sketches were put up as they were done. Cool idea, I've seen it done, but I guess I never considered doing it. Usually people get drawn and then put them away, or take 'em out to the car right away. This way everybody gets to see them.
