ANOTHER XMAS GIFT!

As a lifelong Liverpool supporter, this was a painful one to do. The man in the middle is a friend of mine, Michael 'Slev' Slevin, flanked by Cantona and Keane.
All grudges aside, you have to hold your hands up and say that they're both legends. The man in the middle is a legend in his own special way!!

For whatever reason he wanted to have that pose where he's looking off into the distance, wearing a tuxedo shirt and a cape.(I drew long sleeves before realizing that he meant a tuxedo T-shirt)

THE BEST NIECE IN THE WORLD

That heading should earn me at least a few brownie points!!
This is my niece Aimee and the drawing was a part of her Christmas present this year. She was dead pleased with it. As you can see, she's something of a music fan and should have her first full opera composed by the time she's 12.
The cat in the picture is Maxwell who belongs to my lovely wife Karen (I'm saying all the right things here!!!) and I.

LIVE WORK

I did a wedding in Kilkea Castle, Co Kildare last weekend. It was nuts but good fun!! Here's a few snaps from the night.

MISS ELTON JOHN

I was reluctant to do this guy, such is my dislike for him but he's got an intersting little face to say the least. I started with a pencil sketch and rather than just render the head, I though it would be only right to give him the full body treatment!

NEW GIFT CARICATURES

Here's a couple of new gift pieces just finished. The first is of a colleague of mine who, along with about 10,000 other likeminded fitness fanatics/freaks, is running in this year's Dublin marathon. She'll be raising money for a great Charity called AWARE and asked me to do up a caricature of her to accompany her e-mail correspondence looking for support.
The second is a commisioned piece done through Niall O'Loughlin's Caricature Company for a client who's boyfriend has just graduated from law school as a lawyer of all things.....

QUENTIN UPDATE

Ok, so I've been working on this Tarantino sketch (probably a little longer than necessary but what the hell...) and this is what I've come up with so far. Thanks to those of you who suggested various changes!!!

What a great summer it has been! It has been an honor to have worked alongside such talented artists, and to also make great new friends. It is totally incredible to be around so many people that love doing this as much and maybe even more than I do. Thanks for everybody's hard work!
